in producing oil and gas assets investments. For the past five
years, we have been the leader of this specialized investment
community of DPP energy investments - successfully placing qualified
candidates into over $30 million of royalty, overriding royalty,
and working interest energy investments. We have worked diligently
to match accredited investors with suitable, diverse groups of
assets. In doing so, we have developed a successful track record
with numerous deals comprising over 275,700 active wells, located
in 25 states. In 2008 our portfolio of approved investments combined
an annual yield returned to investors of over 12%.
During our tenure, has evaluated hundreds of offerings
and worked with several sponsors. In doing so, we found direct
energy investments to be very valuable to an investor's portfolio,
and we made the decision early on to allot a large portion of
our resources to becoming experts in these specific DPP offerings.
We are not oil and gas industry insiders who view investors an
inconvenient necessity, but rather we are investors first who
analyze producing energy assets from a long term investment perspective.
This perspective has given us the opportunity to successfully
team up with our clients and other investors and buy some outstanding
long term, producing energy assets.
Madison Capital Investments llc successfully launched
our own initial royalty offering, The Cimarron Properties
in March of 2009. We then launched our first energy fund,
The Madison Capital Energy Income Fund I, in September
of 2009.
Because of our combined experience, and the flexibility
of our lean team of professionals, we can roll out asset offerings
with better balance, better yields, more transparency - all at
